Introduction:
Seeing people get excited about my jewelry, pottery and art has always been a motivation to keep creating new works and finding new ways of expressing what I see around me.
Art Media:
My jewelry is constructed in sterling silver and copper, many with natural gemstones. Pottery pieces are all made out of high-fire clays for beauty and lasting durability. Recent paintings are in the medium of acrylics on archival canvas. I have also explored painting acrylics on solid wood. During the 1990s and early 2000s I worked primarily in Berol Prismacolor oil pencil for detailed drawings of sports and human figures. I still use Prismacolor for pet portraits and select commissions.
